Welcome to Dosbarth Roald Dahl

Wow what a busy start we have had to our first half term in Reception class.

We had fun talking about and sharing our families. We enjoyed creating our families and then creating our one big happy class family. We all belong together!

We will take you on a little journey of our learning adventure so far.

We have really enjoyed listening to the theme tune from the Disney movie Lion King. It has inspired us all to think about the Circle of Life.

We were lucky enough to have had chicks in class, that we watched hatch from eggs. We have learned a lot about the Life Cycle of a Chick. We also now know how to take care of other living creatures.

We have had lots of creative fun creating our own chicks from our observations. We also painted hens linked to our story.` The Little Red Hen`.

The Little Red Hen inspired us to become bakers and celebrate Harvest- we baked our own bread which tasted delicious.

                      We are all superstars in Dosbarth Roald Dahl.
Here are just some of the children who have received awards so far. Everyone has worked so hard and the whole class have all been deserving of an award for all the effort and enthusiasm they put into their learning.

We are also really proud of the children and their wonderful manners and politeness. We also celebrate this!

We are all Healthy Confident Individuals in Dosbarth Roald Dahl and we learn our alphabet daily with Premier League Primary Stars Super Movers.

We finished off our busy half term with lots of Halloween Fun.

We will continue our learning journey next term and I am sure we will have lots more fun activities and work to share with you.
